Enrique Bunbury, whose real name is Enrique Ortiz de Landázuri Izardui, was born on August 11, 1968. With twelve years he bought his first electric guitar and began playing in 1980 in a group called Revelation.

this long career, Enrique Bunbury fame would not be fully recognized until 1987
are formed Heroes del Silencio, with Juan Valdivia.
His
nonconformity and his insatiable desire to search led him to undertake long

last great discovery is the Arab world, the nearest east. During the past year

releasing Radical Sonora, in 199.
In 2002
he published a new work, entitled Flamingos. Flamingos regains taste for
guitars, it turns Bowie premiered the first single , Lady Blue , and delves
into electronics, Latin American sounds , rock and roll, jazz, honky tonk or
the rhythms of New Orleans. A varied album of an artist round victim of a sweeping
musical restlessness.

Enrique Bunbury, cuyo nombre verdadero es Enrique Ortiz
de Landázuri Izardui, nació el 11 de agosto de 1968. Con doce años se compró su
primera guitarra eléctrica y comenzó a tocar en 1980 en un grupo llamado
Apocalipsis.
Su inconformismo y su insaciable afán de búsqueda, le
llevaron a emprender largos viajes, a través de su idolatrado planeta. Así
visita un par de veces la India. Su último gran descubrimiento es el mundo
árabe, el oriente más próximo. Durante el último año pisa cuatro veces suelo
marroquí.
Músico autodidacta, en todos estos viajes va adquiriendo
instrumentos autóctonos.
En el 2002 publica un nuevo trabajo, titulado Flamingos.
Flamingos recobra el gusto por las guitarras, estrena giros a lo Bowie en el
primer single, Lady Blue, y ahonda en la electrónica, los sonidos
latinoamericanos, el rock and roll, el jazz, el honky tonk o los ritmos de
Nueva Orleans. Un álbum variado y redondo de una artista víctima de una
arrolladora inquietud musical.
